Case study 1 – Digital Retail, Banco Popular

Banco Popular Dominicano is a Private Bank in the Dominican Republic. Their ongoing requirement is to transform their existing branches into walk in digital branches of the future, where people are met personally by the bank staff, allowed to browse, compare and contrast  products digitally in-store, and then make informed purchases in-store or back at home online.

Quintessence in-conjunction with FREM Group and FDP Architects , produced 65”/43” multi touch displays for the public, integrated into bespoke furniture for the store. The software solution included a presentation integrated into their banking systems, Object recognition for product comparisons, a game of “life” which helped identify the products required through real life experiences and pop up information about each banking product. All at the touch of a finger. 

The solution was designed and deployed in Dominican Republic. The Digital branch was very well publicised as a ground-breaking branch elevating the brand positioning of Banco Popular and setting the tone for the future of customer engagement and digital banking to come.

Case study 2 - Croydon Interactive map, Croydon Forum

Croydon Development Forum consists of over 100 partners of development investors in the Croydon regeneration scheme.

To demonstrate the new development opportunities and pipeline activity the Forum required an interactive visualisation map that pinpointed every live development with pop up information for showcasing at events such as LREF, MIPIM Cannes and MIPIM UK, along with investor tours of Croydon and promotion to the local community in shopping centres.

Quintessence produced a custom interactive presentation software solution for a 55” multi touch display encased in a portable furniture solution that enabled the horizontal and tilted display of the interactive visualisation map. The map used unattended by delegates providing a fantastic digital experience and overview of Croydon.

Case study 3 - The Lexicon Bracknell, Schroders

The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership is a joint venture between Legal & General Capital and Schroder UK Real Estate Fund. The Partnership investing over £240 million to transform Bracknell town centre into an exciting one million square foot shopping and leisure destination, The Lexicon Bracknell.
Quintessence were employed to deliver a mobile wayfinding application IOS/Android to enhance the Retail experience for customers and provide real-time visitor analysis and trend mapping for The Lexicon Management and Bracknell County Council. It also included ongoing advisory services to further smart enable the town and Retail centre through future digital initiatives.

The Lexicon is held out there as one of the most advanced technological smart city schemes and noted as a blueprint for other future initiatives.

Royal Albert Wharf is one of Notting Hill Housing’s flagship developments for which we employed Quintessence to provide all the interactive tech in the sales suite. They produced two presentations including a fully interactive media-map presentation mounted in table furniture, two large 46” wall mounted multi-touch screens and a tablet showing a 3D presentation and apartment finder that lit the model.
