University of Exeter Forum project was opened in 2012 by the Queen.
A place where students could collaborate and interact across ten multi touch tables. Probably the
largest and most ambitious collaborative deployment of it’s time.
The goal was to provide a facility to empower students with resource applications that enabled a more
collaborative approach to problem solving through group learning and information sharing applications.
Ideal for virtual Law court, mind mapping, information visualisation and document sharing between
groups of students. Information could be shared across tables or by throwing content between tables which provided a fantastic way of connecting minds.
